Our
Projects

Here at Staged we pride ourselves on developing and producing shows that are off the beaten track. Take a look at our previous productions:

Love Letters by A.R. Gurney (April 2026) Black Box Theatre, Nambour

This beautifully written Pulitzer Prize finalist, is a two-hander which explores the complex lifelong relationship between Melissa and Andrew over 50 years. Through their letters, they discuss their hopes and dreams, their relationships and families, and their victories and defeats.

Directed by Nick Smith, starring Nick, Peta Beattie, Lisa Blair & Sean McDermott.

Writer's Block (April 2026) Noosa Arts Theatre 'Shorts on Stage'

Writer's Block was STAGED Theatre's submission to Noosa Arts Theatre's Shorts on Stage season. This whacky play-in-one-scene followed Margot, a struggling author whose characters come to life to help her finish her story.

Writer's Block won numerous awards at Shorts on Stage - First Place for Best Unpublished Script & Second Place for Audience Choice. Imogen Grace, who played Margot, also won Best Actor for the season.

You're Not Special by Sam O'Sullivan (July 2025) Black Box Theatre, Nambour

YNS is a sharp, funny, and unsettlingly relatable play. Riley Scott plays Dan: charming, self-deprecating, and maybe a little too used to the comfort of curated connections. Tyraeli Langley is Ellie: direct, disillusioned, and refreshingly no-nonsense. Caitie Elliott is April-May: the dog-walker/uni student with a key to Dan and Ellie's apartment. Together, they’re navigating a world where intimacy is performative, attention is monetised, and everyone’s a little too available.

Millennial's Child by Simon Denver (November 2024) Black Box Theatre, Nambour

What happens when a group of ex-debate team millennials reunite after 15 years? Audiences found out during the unforgettable run of Millennial’s Child. A night filled with nostalgia, chaotic debates, and razor-sharp humour left crowds laughing, cringing, and reflecting on the highs and lows of adulthood.
