Who are we?
Staged Theatre Company Inc. is a new theatre company based on the Sunshine Coast as of June 2022. Currently operating out of Buderim, our group hopes to bring new narratives, perspectives, and plot twists to the Sunny Coast’s theatre scene.
From dramatic plays and musicals to interactive experiences and community events, there’s something for everyone at Staged. Here, we hope to foster a safe and supportive environment for anyone from experienced drama personas to those brand new to the scene.

Caitie Elliott
Director
Caitie has been in theatre for as long as she can remember. A well-known actor and prolific director, Caitie is an established member of the theatre community here and has won multiple awards for her works and performances. Her works include The Great Gatsby, Eurydice, Lysistrata, The Full Monty and One Man, Two Guv'Nors.
Nick Smith
Treasurer
Nick has been active in the Sunshine Coast theatre community for years now. He has directed, produced and starred in numerous productions including Eurobeat: Almost Eurovision, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, The Full Monty and most recently, Love Letters.
Tyrae Langley
Secretary, Marketing and Social Media Manager
Tyrae has been active in the Sunshine Coast theatre community since 2022, providing photography and marketing services. Tyrae made her stage debut in You're Not Special (2025) and in April 2026 she won numerous awards for her ten-minute play submission (Writer's Block) to Noosa Arts Theatre's Shorts on Stage.
Riley Scott
Founding Member
Riley burst onto the Sunshine Coast stage in 2022 and has not stopped since. A talented actor in his own right, Riley has appeared in show after show, including: Eurobeat: Almost Eurovision, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, One Man, Two Guv'nors, The Full Monty and The Taming of the Shrew.
Lauren Willett
Founding Member
Lauren has been acting for as long as she can remember, starting her theatre life in ballet shoes. A well-established actor, she has been involved in numerous productions including The Five Faces of Eve, The Full Monty, Picasso at the Lapin Agile and Eurobeat: Almost Eurovision. Lauren made her directorial debut with The Unfortunates in August & September 2026.
Darcy Truman
Founding Member
Starting off as a lighting and fog-machine supervisor, Darcy has been acting for a few years now. Notable works of his include The Taming of the Shrew, The Stalker, Writer's Block, The Full Monty, and Picasso at the Lapin Agile.
