After a whirlwind season of You're Not Special, we're filled to the brim with gratitude — and ideas. The energy, talent, and heart that poured into the Black Box Theatre this year reminded us why we do what we do: to tell brave stories with bold people. And now, we’re looking ahead to the next chapter.

Staged Theatre Company is calling out to the artists of the Sunshine Coast and beyond. 

Whether you're a seasoned performer or someone who's never stepped onstage but always wanted to, we want to meet you. If you’re a director with a story to tell, a writer with a script in the works, or a creative who wants to get involved behind the scenes — we want to hear from you.

We’re curating our 2026 and 2027 seasons now, and we’re especially keen to connect with people who are passionate about modern theatre, new Australian work, intimate stories, and challenging characters. We love theatre that feels personal, messy, funny, and real — and we’re proud to create spaces where artists can take risks and grow their craft in the process.
